Enthuse Foundation Doubles Down for Third Annual Women Founders Pitch Competition

New York, NY – September 9, 2021– The Enthuse Foundation, a non-profit organization benefiting women entrepreneurs, announced that it will host its third annual pitch competition to support women making their mark in the food, beverage, and CPG spaces.

The competition aims to address the gender imbalance in business funding and empower women after being disproportionally impacted by the pandemic. Applications to apply for the Pitch Competition opened on August 31. Food, beverage, and CPG ventures must have sales, been in business for less than four years, have at least 51% of the business owned by women, and no more than $500,000 in revenue.

Five applicants will be invited to compete LIVE during the virtual Pitch Competition on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Finalists will compete to win a no-strings cash prize and tailored business services.

As part of its regular programming, the Enthuse Foundation hosts national meetings and webinars to help women grow their businesses.

“There’s no debating that the ongoing public health crisis has been challenging for everyone, but data shows it has disproportionately impacted women and minority-owned entrepreneurs,” said Kristy Snyder, Chief People Officer at Enthuse Marketing, an experiential consultancy, and Co-Founder of the Enthuse Foundation “Women play a vital role in the U.S. economy, so recovery is critical to helping other businesses bounce back from the pandemic. We are grateful to be in a position to increase our prize offerings for this year’s Pitch Competition winners and look forward to working with dynamic business owners nationally.”

Last year’s runner-up, Cecilia Panichelli, founder of Cocina 54 Empanadas said: “I’m extremely grateful to the Enthuse Foundation for their support of women entrepreneurs, especially during this challenging time. The pandemic has been extremely difficult for business owners, especially women. I’m thankful for organizations like the Enthuse Foundation that quickly adapted to the new normal and found innovative ways to empower women founders. I look forward to cheering on and supporting the next generation of Enthuse Foundation Pitch Competition winners.”

This year’s competition is sponsored by, Alera Group, a national insurance and wealth management firm, Berdon LLP, an accounting and advisory firm, Daigle & Travers, an independent insurance agency, JPMorgan Chase & Co.
