Upcoming Event: You Are Not Alone in Business
May 5, 2021 | Education
Building a business can be a very lonely and stressful experience. You might have your entire savings invested in a venture and everything is on the line. According to a Medium story, a 2015 study of mental health among entrepreneurs revealed that 72% reported having a mental health concern in their lifetime, while 49% experienced one or more mental health conditions such as anxiety or depression. This is staggering when you consider that less than a third of non-entrepreneurs reported the same.
May is Mental Health Month, and in our free webinar, fellow women entrepreneurs will provide tips and resources for dealing with the unique mental health challenges faced by business owners. Join an esteemed panel for this critical conversation on ways to take care of yourself, your staff, and your business.
Wednesday, May 19 at 6 PM ET
Panelists Include (subject to change):
- Lucia Huang, Co-Founder and CEO, Osmind
- Angie Kupper, Co-Founder, Hug Sleep
- Chikeitha Owens, Licensed Professional Counselor and Owner, Abundance of Hope Counseling Service
- Nanea Reeves, Co-Founder and CEO, TRIPP
This event will kick off the first-ever Mental Health Action Day on Thursday, May 20th, which will encourage and empower people to take the next step for #MentalHealthAction.
