Why Women in Wine Are Hustling to Stay Afloat

Women founders are statistically more likely to be denied funding and receive fewer loans. In fact, women receive 2.5 times less funding that’s allocated for businesses than men.

“Women are hustling”, says Kim Lawton, CEO of Enthuse Marketing and co-founder of Enthuse Foundation in a WineEnthusiast article. “The funding gap is still very real. Even as women are opening more businesses, the rate of funding for their businesses is shrinking.”
